SUMMMER CELEBRATION CONCERT

The Cape Town Male Voice Choir celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and proudly presents its annual Summer Celebration Concert at the Cape Town City Hall at 19:30 on Saturday, 2 December 2006.

Today, Margaret Barlow is the musical director and her energy is inspiring the choir to new heights. The choir is now 40 strong and has a varied repertoire covering classical, popular, sacred and traditional music styles. Every concert features a mixed bag of contemporary, classical, uplifting and exciting music.

Community Involvement

The Cape Town Male Voice Choir's mission is to be engaged with communities and causes in the Cape Peninsula via music making.

For this concert, the Cape Town Male Voice Choir has partnered with the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital to generate funds for their O.P.E.R.A.T.I.O.N. THEATRE. R10.00 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Children's Hospital Trust to help refurbish the operating theatres and to purchase life-saving equipment.

In keeping with tradition, patrons are invited to bring an unwrapped gift for a needy child to hand over to Father Christmas at the City Hall. These presents will be distributed by the Hospital Trust.

Admission

Single tickets are R65,00 each.

Private Bays cost R3000,00. They seat 10 people (or 8 very comfortably) and occupants receive complimentary drinks and snacks. It thus becomes a wonderful opportunity for a company to make use of for special clients, or even just as a year-end treat.
